You Favor Your First Love? She Doesn't Want Her Ungrateful Father or Son Anymore

Xu Qingqiu thought her marriage was more or less fine. Her husband was never affectionate with her, and their son had learned to be just as cold and distant. She always assumed it was simply their personalities. Then her daughter came down with a high fever that wouldn't break. Sick herself, Xu Qingqiu took the girl to the hospital for an IV and ran into her husband and son there, keeping his white moonlight company. Her husband's smile was so tender it hurt to look at. Her son even said he wished his mother could get sick in his auntie's place. Xu Qingqiu suddenly gave up. She wanted nothing more to do with a husband who didn't love her or a son who wouldn't listen. A month later, she returned to the capital with her daughter. Her extraordinary skill at creating fragrances amazed everyone, and powerful figures from every walk of life offered huge sums to buy her creations. Only then did her husband finally realize she was gone. That day, everyone saw the usually elegant, aloof, and immensely powerful President Gu lose his mind. Eyes bloodshot, he begged her with desperate, obsequious obsession: “Qingqiu, will you forgive me?”
