The Riverside Cook: The Everyday Delights of Sanlang

Amid the misty drizzle, the Riverside Fresh Eats restaurant opens for business! Savory pickled greens with minced pork, crispy fried pancakes, a pot brimming with fresh fish, shrimp, crab, and soft-shelled turtle, rose and bean-paste cakes with fermented rice wine, and vegetarian fermented tofu soup with sesame oil!

Good food makes life sweet, but it somehow draws the attention of the accursed Fu Sanlang. Not only does she lose her peaceful life, she also uncovers the truth behind her parents' murder years ago.

Fu Zi: “You’re all honeyed words and false smiles, with a dagger hidden in your heart!” Huaiyue: “That’s right.”

Fu Zi: “You’re up to no good and after something!” Huaiyue: “Am I?”

Fu Zi: ...“I am.”
