Attorney Meng, Mr. Huo Has Been Plotting to Win You Over for a Long Time

Fate kept making him and her pass one another by. When he was twelve, Huo Boyan first met five-year-old Meng Xinyan at an orphanage. He traded her a handful of candy for the necklace her birth mother had left her. At sixteen, Huo Boyan returned to the orphanage to look for her, but Meng Xinyan had already been adopted. At twenty-two, Huo Boyan left his hometown and came to Meng Xinyan’s city to find her. At twenty-five, he and eighteen-year-old Meng Xinyan collided on the sports field. Their meeting began by chance, continued through his careful scheming, and ended with an accident. One accident turned Huo Boyan into an eraser in her mind, forcing every sweet memory of him to be deleted. Abandoned by her birth parents and devastated by the accidental death of her childhood friend, Meng Xinyan was traumatized after witnessing the death and lost all memory of her happy relationship with Huo Boyan. At thirty-two, Huo Boyan followed the longing in his heart and once again found a way to get close to her. It didn’t matter that she had forgotten the past. He looked forward to starting a new chapter with her. But after they reunited, the days spent trying to recover her memories were far from smooth. Her constant wariness, interference from her birth parents, and her sister-in-law’s love for Huo Boyan turning into hatred all became obstacles on their path to love.
