I’d Been Plotting This for Ages, Yet I’m the Wealthy Tycoon’s One True Love

After seven years together, Wen Shuyi overhears Fu Jingshi cuddling another woman and sneering, “Wen Shuyi is a block of wood. She can't hold a candle to you.” That night, she'd had enough. She calmly broke up with him and wished them a lifetime together. Fu Jingshi gave her a cold look and threatened, “Once you break up with me, don't come crawling back to get me to take you back.”

Later, Wen Shuyi's career took off, but Fu Jingshi never got the apology he was waiting for. Instead, for the first time, he swallowed his pride and said, “Shuyi, stop messing around.” Later still, Fu Jingshi, eyes red, begged, “Shuyi, let's not break up.” Wen Shuyi didn't even look up. She said coolly, “But I find you disgusting.”

Fu Jingshi still wouldn't give up. He blocked the entrance to her home, hoping for one chance to win her back. But the one who opened the door was the famed aloof beauty, the all-powerful head of the Huo family, Huo Si.

Only later did Fu Jingshi finally understand: Wen Shuyi's life stretched as wide as the open sea, and there was no place for him in it anymore.
