After the spiritual qi revival, Li Jie watched his friends and family get killed by ferocious beasts. Determined to take revenge, he enlists in the military, hoping to become a God of War, but things take a strange turn. “Congratulations, Host, you've successfully activated the Gourmet System.” “Congratulations on making a serving of shredded potato salad. Reward: Vitality +1.” “Congratulations on turning a mutated iron-clawed chicken into delicious roast chicken. Vitality +10.” “Congratulations on turning the E-rank ferocious beast Steelmane Boar into roast suckling pig. Vitality +100.” “Congratulations on turning the S-rank ferocious beast Sky-Swallowing Python into a spicy snake dish. Vitality +100000.” While everyone else is still fretting over how to kill ferocious beasts, the next day they show up as delicious dishes on Li Jie's table. As he continues hunting ferocious beasts and turning them into gourmet meals, Li Jie gradually rises to the top and becomes a supreme God of War.
