After They Switched Targets, I Became the Mad Prince’s Most Beloved

In her previous life, Shen Zhi had been blind and foolishly devoted to Pei Huai, unable to see what kind of person he was. In the end, her entire family was executed. Her beloved father was murdered on the frontier, her mother was tortured to death, and Pei Huai forced her to swallow poison. She endured the agony of a thousand swords piercing her heart before he abandoned her body in the wilderness. In this life, Shen Zhi decisively changed targets, choosing Pei Jing, the infamous King of Hell. But how was it that this King of Hell not only spared her life, but treated her like a treasure? The Empress Dowager and empress hated her, and sent beauties to the prince's estate every day. Without a word, Shen Zhi sent the beauties to the Noble Consort, then ran to Pei Jing to complain. “Her Majesty the Empress insisted I take that beauty to the Noble Consort. It scared me half to death...” Her aunt and grandmother couldn't stand her. They tortured her and tripped her up every day, so Shen Zhi smashed everything in the estate from top to bottom, declaring that anyone who dared defy her would have their skin peeled off. Everyone was at their wits' end. They ran to complain to the Seventh Prince, only to see the Seventh Princess cowering behind Pei Jing, looking pitiful. “Husband, they just threw things at me. How awful of them.” Everyone: “...” So you weren't the one just threatening to peel our skin off, huh?! Pei Jing smiled and let her do as she pleased, pulling her into his arms. “Who just laid a hand on my beloved consort? Drag them out and give them a hundred strokes of the rod!” Everyone: “...” Fine, the princess is shamelessly picking fights, and you're just as blind!
