The Maid’s Rise to Power

Qu Yizhu was a PhD in traditional Chinese medicine. She died on a plane and got to experience transmigration. But why was she, unlike everyone else who became a young lady or a consort, the lowest-ranking maid in a prince’s manor? She had to claw her way up. In this feudal society, there was no law to speak of; everything depended on power. The prince and princess consort were the most powerful people in the manor, and the prince was rarely seen. The maids were all managed by the princess consort, so if Qu Yizhu wanted to rise in rank, she had to cling tightly to her skirts. Someone wants to harm the princess consort? They’ll have to get past me first! I’m the princess consort’s little shadow. But why has the heir to the title suddenly started following her around? Qu Yizhu fought desperately to resist. “We’re not suited to each other, Your Highness!” The heir to the title pursued her relentlessly. “Nonsense! We were made for each other.”
