Chronicles of an Ordinary God

An ordinary young man arrives in another world. Faced with cruelty and human nature, will he let his dignity be crushed and become a beast, or hold on to a faint glimmer of light and remain human? What sparks will fly when the different perspectives of two worlds collide?

A clarification: This is not a wish-fulfillment story, and the protagonist has no plot armor that makes everyone else act stupid.

Another clarification: The world unfolds gradually. It does not start out with a fixed label.
