A Blood Pact Across Time: The Metaphysical Master Goes on a Rampage

【Metaphysics + Connections Across Time + Bartering Supplies + True and Fake Heiresses + Comeback and Face-Slapping + Stockpiling + Infrastructure Building During Famine】 During a devastating drought, the newly enthroned ruler of Jing, Mu Zichen, prayed for rain to save his people, even offering a blood sacrifice: “I would give my life in exchange for favorable weather and abundant harvests.” This led him to meet Su Qiqi, a modern archaeology student down on her luck. The rain-prayer incantation performed during the blood sacrifice connected the past and present. “What? A severe drought? I’ll give you an endless flow of river water.” “What? A neighboring country has invaded Jing? Take all the military strategies, weapons, and medicine you need.” “What? Your land is mountainous, with little farmland and underdeveloped agriculture? Let me show you the wonders of infrastructure building.” With all the rewards Mu Zichen sent her, Su Qiqi managed to get her mother a kidney transplant and save the woman who had raised her. Then she discovered that the mother who had raised her was her adoptive mother, and her biological parents, a powerful family, came looking for her. Her fake heiress of a sister, a scheming white lotus, wanted her dead. Su Qiqi said, “If I don’t flatten you, you’ll throw my Daoist heart into chaos.” In the ancient Great Jing, she won the favor of the mysterious sect’s founding patriarch and learned profound Daoist arts, becoming the only remaining founding master of the Dao in the modern world. From then on, one glance was enough for Su Qiqi to see fortune and misfortune, and one quick calculation could reveal the balance of yin and yang. Wherever her talismans went, demons and ghosts scattered, and she became sworn brothers with the Black and White Impermanence. Add in her exceptional tyrant of a husband, unmatched in both martial arts and strategy, and this pair of rule-breaking troublemakers could dominate politics and business, the underworld and the legitimate world, past and present, East and West.
