Reborn Just for My Tsundere Childhood Friend. Who Cares About Your System?

[Reborn, one heroine, mutual devotion, this System isn't that kind of system, no angst] In his second year of high school, Zhao Wenyan confessed to Xia Qingyu and was rejected. He then pursued the school beauty, Liu Hanyan, who helped him through his darkest days. It wasn't until graduation that he saw her kissing another man and realized all the effort he'd put in over the years had been wasted on someone who didn't deserve it. When he got home, he learned that Xia Qingyu had also died in a car accident just a few days earlier. Only after receiving her diary from Xia Qingyu's parents did he realize that her rejection back then had been nothing but stubborn pride. She hadn't meant what she said. Staring at the diary's densely packed pages, Zhao Wenyan was overcome with despair, unable to accept what he'd learned. “Could you let me... see her one more time?...” He thought it was just something he'd said in passing, but somehow it really did earn him a chance to be reborn. But then a “person” showed up, trying to sell him a System. Zhao Wenyan wasn't interested. “You don't want a System?” “Who cares about your System? Is it more important than my childhood sweetheart?”
