Tempt Him

Chu Ling is an orphan. Sold to Guanyin Nunnery at the age of six, she had wanted to escape ever since. The girls here are openly put up for sale. Screams and cries of agony fill the air without end. Chu Ling has been preparing to flee all this time. Then the Crown Princess came to her, looking for a concubine to bear an heir for the Crown Prince. Chu Ling knew her chance had finally come. She would escape this hellhole that devoured people whole. She wanted to be free. Just as she reached the edge of freedom, a pair of hands pulled her into an embrace. The voice that had whispered in her ear night after night sounded once more. “Chu Ling, I’ll protect you.”
