Help! The Scheming Minister and I Were Reborn Together

[Both reborn, both powerful: a love-hate pairing] In her previous life, Yuan Zhi took her legitimate elder sister's place in the palace. She won the emperor's favor, but never bore him a child. With the old emperor on the verge of death, Yuan Zhi had no intention of being buried with him, so she set her sights on Consort Zheng, who was about to give birth. As an imperial noble consort, raising a mere consort's child would be no trouble. But Consort Zheng died suddenly on the night she gave birth. Her childhood sweetheart, Xiao Zong, commander of the Leopard Guard, was convinced Yuan Zhi had killed the mother and stolen her child, and did everything he could to trip her up. Yuan Zhi wasn't one to take that lying down. If he stabbed her, she'd stab him back. They traded blows, each striking at the other's heart. They were still at it when they both died before the old emperor. When Yuan Zhi opened her eyes, she discovered she had been reborn! The problem was, her nemesis Xiao Zong had been reborn too, and had sent a betrothal gift to marry her! Yuan Zhi saw through his attempt to test her. She hid the fact that she had been reborn and married him without hesitation. You want to fight? Then I'll give you the fight of your life!
