Honghuang: Houtu's Disciple Builds a Mythic Underworld

He transmigrates to the Primordial World.

Zhou Hui becomes Houtu’s disciple.

The Underworld has fallen into decline, with no powerful figure to guard it, and Ksitigarbha is lurking there.

His senior brother, Great Emperor Fengdu, solemnly entrusts Zhou Hui with the task of restoring the Underworld.

Zhou Hui: “All right.”

And so Zhou Hui begins making plans.

He quells upheavals and turns back time.

To help the Underworld flourish, he lays the groundwork for the Journey to the West in advance.

He leads the Underworld to grow stronger and stronger.

Countless years later.

Great Emperor Fengdu: “Junior Brother! Is this really the Underworld? Have we become this powerful?”

Houtu: “What? Does my Underworld have this many Sages?”
