The Whole Family Is Loved by All: I’m Five and a Half, and We All Came from Another World

[Parents transmigrate, daughter is reborn]

The last eldest princess of the Northern Dynasty gave herself up to protect her people, dying for her country. In a single day, she was reborn as Shantao, a five-and-a-half-year-old farm girl.

Reborn, she regained her sight and gained the ability to see through all things and discern people's hearts. She can see through flesh and blood to bring the dying back to life, or peer through stone and wood to uncover marvelous treasures.

Her parents transmigrated too! Her mother, who favored sons over daughters, and her scoundrel father, a compulsive gambler, came back from the dead and spoiled Shantao rotten.

Her peasant mother can cut people open and snatch their lives back from the King of Hell, while her scoundrel father is learned in every field and can recite literary masterpieces at the drop of a hat.

Her father is a modern professor of Chinese literature, her mother a master surgeon, and the handsome young gentleman they rescued from the river turns out to be the current crown prince, a familiar face from the past.

With her father's protection, her mother's love, and the affection of an old friend, Shantao uses her X-ray eyes to lead her family to prosperity, while sweeping away her former enemies and this life's scoundrels alike.

Shantao: Having lived again, I'm no longer a princess at the end of her road. I want to be my parents' treasured daughter.

Si Zhouxing: Taotao, what about me?

Father Shan: If you want to marry my daughter, start with three years of exam prep and five years of practice tests!

Mother Shan: If you want to marry my daughter, you must be able to recite the abridged guide to gynecology by heart!

The Shan brothers: Let's drink!

Si Zhouxing: Oh dear, I'm so drunk I've fallen over. I'll need Taotao to kiss and cuddle me before I can get up.
