The Delicate Concubine

To save her younger brother, she was coerced by her legitimate elder sister into becoming her brother-in-law's concubine at the marquis's estate. Her sister ordered her to seduce him every day and shatter his resolve to become a Buddha.

But alas... her brother-in-law was ascetic and indifferent to desire. Although she stayed overnight in the Soft Fragrance Pavilion every day, she had never once shared a man's bed...

Before she could make her brother-in-law break his vows, her legitimate elder sister grew jealous and began plotting to get rid of her.

To protect herself, she had no choice but to move out of the Soft Fragrance Pavilion.

But on the very first day after she moved, the man pinned her hard against the wall, his voice low and teasing. “Ningning, I've missed you so much...”

She rolled her eyes. “Brother-in-law, weren't you going to renounce the world and become a monk?”

His eyes reddened as he pouted, looking a little aggrieved. “Ningning, no Buddhist temple could ever be as good as you.”
