The Heavenly Female Scholar Who Returned in Another Life

In the thirteenth year of Chengji, top scholar Sang Jiyao brings glory to his family. The emperor finds the young man handsome and bright, and grandly orders a princess to marry him, pairing a phoenix with a pheasant. But the young man has the nerve to refuse, smiling as he says, “I'm afraid I can't. To be honest, I'm a homosexual.” The emperor is left speechless, and avoids him from then on. Lord Sang, the homosexual, loves solving cases, rising through the ranks, and making money. He also loves handsome men in splendid hats and fine robes. As he puts it, “If a beauty can turn my world from red to green, then what are three vows and nine virtues worth?” The ministers all say, “There's not four ounces of flesh on his face, but his skin is eight feet thick. Is something wrong with this man?” Lord Song, the chief justice of the Court of Judicial Review, shoots him a cold glance. “What? Lord Sang is a man? I don't think that's necessarily true.”
