My Husband Is Ill but Handsome

On the seventh day of the eleventh lunar month in the twenty-first year of the Mingde reign, Meng Cigu, the legitimate daughter of the Marquis of Chengyang, leaves the capital for Xinzhou.

Born frail and orphaned young, Meng Cigu was trapped in the inner household for more than a decade, surviving one brush with death after another. Her stepmother entered the family less than a hundred days after her birth, already pregnant.

Her stepmother dreams of replacing Meng Cigu and seizing her maternal family’s fortune. But first, she’ll have to see whether Meng Cigu will let her take her life!

Forced to leave the capital in the bitter winter, Meng Cigu coolly kills a coachman who tries to harm her. One life claimed.

Caught in a snowstorm, she runs into bandits and stays at their stronghold, paying them fairly. One bodyguard gained.

Beneath a plum tree, a beauty is as lovely as a painting. She makes up a story on the spot to fool someone. One husband gained.

Well, her husband is handsome, but he has a condition.

P.S. The heroine seems to have something wrong with her head, and the hero really does.
