National Beauty: The Original Novel for the TV Adaptation Splendid Bloom

The novel written more than ten years ago is also very exciting. Mr. Yi Qianzhong's writing style is delicate and contemporary. The drama is indeed a major overhaul. The relatively plain modern heroine in the original novel is transformed into a "second generation Shang" from a wealthy family, with the support of her family and the help of noble people. The story of a scumbag man who successfully planted peonies, opened a garden, and got a good husband has been transformed into a wonderful and inspiring story of a grassroots woman with interlocking plots breaking through layers of imprisonment, escaping from an unfortunate fate, and surviving a near-death experience to start her own business and gain love. My favorite is of course Peony He Weifang. In addition to the standard virtues of the heroine such as kindness and intelligence, the most memorable thing is the tenacity and vigorous vitality of the characters in the play like weeds (she is a bit sick in the book, but the character change is not too big). Especially in the section about burning incense, the word "well-being" can be replaced by the word "female" after removing the word "happiness" and covering the head, but it can still bloom its fragrance alone, which has far-reaching meaning. The male protagonist has been greatly changed, and it feels like they are basically two people with the same name. In the novel, he is the emperor's secret agent, responsible for handling difficult affairs, and has a calm personality; in the drama version, he is changed to a flower and bird messenger, and his personality is more sleek and clever. ‌The second male lead, Liu Chang‌: In the novel, he is a playboy, but in the drama version, he is changed to an ambitious but cowardly young man‌. I especially want to talk about Qin Shengyi, who is by far the character I care most about and pity for. She should have been changed by Qin Sanniang in the book (the hero's aunt lives a sober, free and open-minded life, which should have the shadow of Aunt Duan in the book) ✐Times cannot tie Ah Fu's generous temperament, because her mother gave her enough love, and rules cannot tie Xiaochun's determination to practice medicine, because she has seen the greatness of saving lives and healing the wounded. Mudan cannot be disciplined by the secular world, because she has a wealthy family, a business-minded father, and a mother with extraordinary knowledge. Only Shengyi, there is no love in the family, no protection in the world, and the kindness cultivated in the vision at the bottom of the well cannot take root in the storm. She believes in peonies and admires the world depicted by peonies, but she cannot enter that world. Shengyi, I hope you will be born towards the sun, but I also understand that most seedlings that are not well-nurtured when they are young cannot withstand strong winds and heavy rains. If you withstand it, you are a hero! Even if you are still weak in the world, your spirit is extremely strong. ✐I really like He Weifang's lines, especially the words from my ex-husband. It's so inspiring and worth remembering! If you hold on to aloofness, you will follow the path of poverty; If you decide to submit, you will have to endure the humiliation of bending your knees. But you have to have both, In the end, they will only fight against each other and be broken into pieces. Become a person first, and then memorize your so-called surname.

I've finished watching the drama~ Let's read the novel~

Overall, it is good and very attractive to me. The characters are vividly portrayed and the details are well described. I am looking forward to the remake of this novel by Yang Zi, He Weifang and Li Xian Jiang Changyang.

The writing is still good. There was too much foreshadowing. After seeing the heroine move out of the He family, I basically couldn't stand it anymore. The plot was dragging and there were too many details. The advantage of having more details may be that the characters are well drawn, but it was really tiring to watch...

The author has detailed descriptions of the city layout, humanistic features, food, clothing, housing, transportation, peony planting, etc. Of Chang'an in the Tang Dynasty. There are basically no black and white characters in the book. The pre-marriage part is easier to read, but the house fights and intrigues after marriage are upsetting. Personally, I feel that compared to the smooth love story between the male and female protagonists, the emotional changes of the ex-husband, who is both good and evil, are more touching. This book doesn't seem to need major changes if it is made into a drama. The overall reading is like a costume life drama, with some rhythms of "Know or Not" (the storyline is not similar, it's just the overall feeling)

I like Yang Zi so I read the novel. I didn't expect the novel to be so disappointing. I hope the TV series won't be made like this. The writing of the novel is really the same. The first part is okay, and it is good at planting flowers, but the later part becomes more and more boring, especially after the heroine gets married. It is simply unreadable, the struggle for power, all kinds of struggles, all fights. This house fight is so tiring to watch. I don't see the kind of history of struggle promoted in TV dramas. There are only house fights, all kinds of vulgar methods, and the writing is exactly the same as the bad street novels. I really hope that the TV series won't be based on the original work, otherwise I won't be able to watch it.

I have read a lot of articles, and the content of this article is relatively new. I would give it a higher rating than its current rating of 8.9. Talk about something uncomfortable, I hope the author can see it. While listening to the book, I was repeatedly interrupted by requests for pink votes. I can understand the author's hard work and dedication, but I don't feel very good about it. There are also many professional aspects. It can be seen that the author carefully researched the information. When writing, it was too piled up, and the popular science was not natural, and it was easy to make people laugh.

Compared with the TV series, it can be said that it has little to do with it. I originally read the novel because I liked the TV series but felt that updates were slow. In the end, I was disappointed, but I still finished reading it all. Overall, it is just an ordinary novel with nothing new in it. The names of people are confused in many places. It is completely unrelated to the TV series except for the name of the protagonist. The TV series has been changed very well.

After reading less than a hundred chapters, I feel that the plot is relatively bland, and the so-called house fight is not interesting. The only "fight" object is a stupid and unsuccessful third sister-in-law. Maybe there will be new ones in the future, but I feel like with Peony's silly and sweet character, there's not much to watch. What I don't understand the most is why the author had to give the protagonist a background as a "time traveler". Apart from being able to grow peonies, she doesn't have any of the advantages of modern people's dimensionality reduction, so why does it have to be set like this? Can't it just be written as a woman who has loved flowers and been able to grow them since she was a child? Don't talk nonsense about modern people being better at growing flowers. The farming techniques of the ancients are not inferior to those of today. In fact, it would be good to just write emotional stories honestly. It has to be tied to Zhaidou and has something to do with time-traveling. It makes it unreliable and makes people disgusted.

National Beauty Youth is about to be aired, so I quickly read the original work before it aired. It was really amazing to see Yang Zi's face in it, but I don't know what the TV series version will be like. The author is really good at writing. The world is not black and white. Every character is portrayed with flesh and blood. I like the endings of He Mudan and Jiang Yunqing very much, and I hope they will still be happy in another world.
