The God-Slaying Stele

[Traditional Fantasy] [Decisive and Ruthless] [No Goody-Two-Shoes] [Swordsmanship] [Slay the Gods]

In the primordial age, the Divine Race and humanity waged war for dominion over heaven and earth.

The battle shook heaven and earth, shattering mountains and rivers.

In the end, humanity was defeated, and the Divine Race proclaimed itself the Heavens.

From then on, humanity was enslaved by the Divine Race for a million years.

During that time, one after another, champions arose to defy the Heavens, making it their mission to overthrow the Heavens and slay the gods.

Every champion who slew a deity had their achievement recorded on the Godslayer Stele, where future generations could pay their respects.

Whoever possessed the Godslayer Stele could command the four seas and eight wildernesses, and lay the foundations for all ages to come.

A million years later, Zhang Zifan, master of a forbidden zone, unexpectedly obtained humanity's Godslayer Stele.

But after being betrayed, he died, his soul dissipating, and transmigrated into the body of a useless live-in son-in-law.

In this life, bearing the Godslayer Stele, Zhang Zifan sets out on the path of defying the Heavens and slaying the gods.

Zhang Zifan: If the Heavens oppress me, I will defy them. If the gods bully me, I will slay them!
