One-on-one romance, female-led wuxia revenge epic with a large ensemble cast

Nine years ago, the Sundown Rebellion erupted. The six great sects of the martial world besieged the Yaoling Divine Cult. Its leader, Ye Lingshuang, fought valiantly but was defeated and killed by a sword thrust on her throne. The all-powerful Ye clan of Nanjiang fell in a single night. Was it suspicion, love and hatred, or the old truth that when the cunning hare dies, the hound is cooked, and when the enemy state falls, the ministers are put to death?

Ye Liyue, the treasured daughter whom Ye Lingshuang had cherished above all, never imagined that one day she would pick up a sword from among her relatives' blood, ascend the throne, and fight the whole world with her back to the wall.

Siblings turn against each other, childhood friends become enemies, subordinates betray her, every dear friend dies, and enemies close in from all sides.

Even less did she expect the man long forgotten in the depths of her memory to travel thousands of miles and return to her side.

He brings her armies beyond counting and a fated love in a time of chaos.

The land is full of diverging roads, but her heart belongs to one man.

If you love, then I will be the husband of your dreams.

If you kill, then I will be the blade in your hand.
