After His Wife Fakes Her Death and Disappears, Mr. Gu Goes Mad

[Powerful Family] [Unrequited Love] [Sweet and Angsty] [Divorce and Faked Death] [The Husband Chases His Wife to the Crematorium]

Three years after marrying into the Gu family, Zhao Yangyang learns that Gu Yan has loved someone else since childhood.

At the welcome-home banquet for his first love, who's returned from abroad, Zhao Yangyang gets into a car accident. He devotes himself to her rival and doesn't give Zhao Yangyang a second thought.

Zhao Yangyang finally sees things clearly.

After three years together, Gu Yan still treats her with contempt.

She resolutely asks for a divorce, but Gu Yan refuses to let her go, claiming he's not done playing with her.

At last, she asks him what it will take for him to let her go.

Gu Yan says, "Give me a child, and I'll let you go."

Zhao Yangyang sneers. "In your dreams!"

She tries to run away, but he catches her and locks her up in the villa.

"There's only one way to find out if it's a dream."

After Gu Yan forces her day after day, Zhao Yangyang unsurprisingly becomes pregnant.

But then, half a month later...

Blindfolded, she's taken to an abandoned factory alongside Gu Yan's first love.

The kidnappers tell Gu Yan he can only choose one of them.

Gu Yan panics a little and anxiously tells the kidnappers to release his first love.

He doesn't ask about Zhao Yangyang even once.

Zhao Yangyang's heart finally dies. Rescued by Gu Yan's sworn enemy, she leaves the country with him.

Gu Yan mistakenly believes she's really dead and goes completely mad.

Three years later, Zhao Yangyang returns to the country.

At her side are a little one and a handsome man.

She looks blissfully happy.

At a banquet, Secretary Qi stops the drunk Gu Yan. "Mr. Gu, you're confused. That's Mrs. Bo."

With red-rimmed eyes, Gu Yan kneels in front of her and clutches her skirt. "Yangyang... will you come back to me?"

Everyone is stunned.

No one could have imagined that the most powerful man in the Gu family would act like this when drunk.
