The Female Coroner Detective

In the fifth year of the Shengqian Dynasty, a bloody case rocks Shengjing: three underage princes are found dead in the rear hall of Luanfeng Palace. Enraged, Emperor Shengqian orders Lin Yuanhang, Minister of Justice, to solve the case and capture the "Cuckoo Killer" within half a month. But half a month later, the investigation has reached a dead end. Knowing he cannot escape punishment, Lin Yuanhang entrusts his barely one-year-old daughter, Lin Mo, to his loyal old servant Uncle Lin and tells him to flee. As his life ebbs away, Uncle Lin finally brings Lin Mo to Qinzhou Prefecture and personally entrusts her to the renowned physician Bai Zhiyuan.

To protect Lin Mo, Bai Zhiyuan changes her identity to that of a cousin in the Bai family and has her study medicine alongside his young son, Bai Yixuan, keeping her far from the life of a coroner. But fate has other plans. Bai Yixuan, three years older than Lin Mo, has loved reading detective stories since childhood and often secretly studies forensic methods. Influenced by him, Lin Mo sets out on the path to becoming a coroner...
