I Worked Hard to Make Games Just to Stay Alive

Chen Yu transmigrates to another world and obtains a game-making System that listens to player feedback. To stay alive, he obediently makes whatever games the players ask for. “Games these days are too easy. I want something harder, something more challenging.” And so *Jump King* is born. “I can’t be a hero in real life. I want to experience what it’s like to be one in a game!” And so *Undertale* is made. “I want a game that can heal people’s hearts!” And so *Celeste* is created. Games from his previous life, such as *Dead Cells*, *Titanfall*, and *Monster Hunter: World*, are released one after another in response to player requests. But instead of earning rave reviews, this obedient game designer is met with a barrage of insults. Chen Yu says he’s exhausted. Didn’t he make these games exactly the way you wanted? How can you blame me, the game designer?
