Beloved in the Eighties: The Evolution of a Scholar's Darling

Everyone in the compound knew one thing.

Lu Zhiting was unruly and arrogant, aloof and noble. His devil-may-care temper could make children cry, and most importantly, he had no interest in women.

Then one day, he took a fancy to a young woman and tried every means possible to bring her home.

Wen Xin was so sweet and lovely that he couldn't bring himself to be harsh with her. He wanted nothing more than to cherish her like the apple of his eye.

The little darling he spoiled made others jealous and green-eyed, and they kept gossiping about her.

They said she had nothing but beauty? They were just jealous!

They said she was fierce and domineering? That's exactly what he liked!

The Lu family motto: "A man who doesn't cherish his wife defies all reason."
