New Lyrics of Liangzhou

Amid the great wave of reform and opening up, Wang Qiming refuses to waste away in a state-owned factory. He courageously takes voluntary redundancy and starts a business, only to be dumped by his girlfriend, Bai Ling, in front of everyone. At the darkest point in his life, he meets Qiao Qian, a beautiful and gentle young woman from the south. She encourages him to establish a reemployment market and lead his former coworkers in starting businesses together. But Wang Qiming never imagined that Qiao Qian was actually the eldest daughter of the Qiao Group, a heiress worth hundreds of millions... Centered on the new era theme of "common prosperity," this story draws on the principle of "letting those who get rich first help others get rich, so everyone can prosper together." Set against the strategic development of the "Great Western Development," it tells the story of how, in 1998, the Qiao Group from Zhuzhou in southeastern Zhejiang responded to government policy by investing in a "reemployment market" in Liangzhou in the northwest, helping local people find work after being laid off and achieve common prosperity.
