Possessiveness

My life has been like a drifting duckweed, always on the verge of being swept away. I never know which step might be the one that leaves me shattered.

And yet, defying all convention, I dared to try to enter someone’s heart.

I never expected that, in this contest of possessiveness, I would become the prey.

With a wave of my sleeve and a flick of my hand, I’ll lure her straight into the trap.
