I Run a Paper Effigy Shop

My name is Liu Dabao, and I run a shop that makes paper offerings. One day, a guy named Li Xunhuan asked me to burn a villa for him and gave me a jade pendant, saying someone would come to collect it later. That night, a woman came to pick up the pendant and gave me a thousand yuan. But who could have guessed that the next day, the thousand yuan vanished and turned into a pile of white paper! Was it spirit money for the dead? Were Li Xunhuan and that woman both ghosts? And they want me to collect 9,999 tears and 9,999 smiles? No, I don't believe it. These people must be talking nonsense!
