The Midnight Hostess

Behind every livestream lies a secret that must never be revealed.

Xia Mo, a female streamer, enters Livestream Room 404. Just as her broadcast is about to end, the screen suddenly shows her roommate Su Lin falling to her death from a great height. The next day, Xia Mo receives the news that Su Lin died in a fall from a building.

This is only the beginning. Terrifying scenes of death keep appearing: a ghost in a movie theater, a shadow in the women's restroom, a man hanging from a hook, a woman with a paper face... Who can uncover the secret behind the deadly livestream room?

The mysterious Fengmen Village, the terrifying art of black magic, the mysteriously vanished Night Ghost Clan, and the inexplicable strange events happening around Xia Mo.

The ever-present ghost-face symbols, the metal box dug out of a cave, the secret hidden inside it: seemingly impossible events are ultimately connected.

To her astonishment, Xia Mo discovers that the identities of her friends and family have changed. What she sees is not the truth at all. From the very beginning, an invisible hand has been manipulating everything.
