Beast Taming: I Pick Up Skills in Secret Realms

Wang Shuo was a top student who awakened a Breeding-type skill called Appraisal. He never expected the country to invent a Beast-Taming Illustrated Guide, rendering his Breeding-type skill, Appraisal, completely useless. Every university rejected his applications. But Wang Shuo refused to give up and chose to use a Mutant Stone. To his surprise, his awakened skill let him find other skills in secret realms. At the same time, he discovered that Appraisal had a special property... Starting out as an ordinary beast tamer, he would gradually make his way into an academy, explore secret realms, capture beasts hidden in cities, compete in tournaments around the world, and venture into secret realms across the globe. He would become a Mythical Beast Tamer. The story features divine powers and beasts inspired by the Classic of Mountains and Seas, Investiture of the Gods, Journey to the West, and other works. It also features mutant and mechanical beasts. This is not a Pokémon-style story.
