The Lucky Little Landlord of the Wilderness

Xia Weiwei blinked and discovered she'd shrunk dramatically into a little wildling. She was overjoyed.

With the bitter cold approaching, a flimsy tent, and tattered animal skins, she silently consoled herself: better a poor life than a quick death.

Despite the discontent and disdain of the tribe, Xia Weiwei resolutely made a bet with them. Then, methodically, she used all sorts of “inventions” such as fishing, food storage, pottery, and weaving to overturn the assumption that she was a useless burden. Little by little, she changed the tribe's prejudiced view of her as a “little orphan.” By putting her medical “skills” to use, she gradually made everyone understand how important and indispensable she was.

It took a long time for her to go from being unwelcome to earning everyone's respect.

It took many years of hard work to go from suffering hunger and cold, the only sensations she'd known since arriving in this world, to having food and clothing in abundance.

Once she had made peace with both body and soul in this dangerous yet simple-hearted primitive world, Xia Weiwei began a wonderful, easygoing early retirement.
