A Beautiful Wife

I have read the author's other two novels which were quite good, but this one was so disappointing! It must have been written by the author in his early days. The plot is confusing and the ages of the characters are often changed in the book! The male and female protagonists are also very weak. They are often poisoned and framed, and they don't fight back... The more I watch, the more disturbing I am. 😠 I watched it with skipping beats afterward! A concubine can also be a concubine... And the emperor said he would abdicate when he was only a few years old... So many unreasonable plots!

This novel is indeed not good to read. Even if I am a book reader, I can't read it. The writing is poor, the plot is boring, and the characters are not likable. It cannot be compared with the other two.

How can I put it this way? I'd better give it a good review. I feel like the heroine is quite useless.
