The Chronicles of Raising Demons

A historical xianxia novel with gentle humor and a little snark. Claim territory, raise monsters, mend heaven and earth, and live free and easy.

Because cultivators have plundered resources for far too long, the whole world is on the brink of collapse. Just then,

an ordinary, ridiculous young man with an artistic streak transmigrates into the body of an impoverished village boy of humble birth, lofty ambitions, strict self-discipline, kindness toward others, encyclopedic knowledge, and remarkable talent...

This poor boy, who had resolved to become the top scholar, promptly turns into a ridiculous young man who knows how to have fun.

Fortunately, this ridiculous young man isn't completely useless.

The story begins in a small mountain village...

Damn it, I worked so hard to pass the examination and become a licentiate. Who told me that even in ancient times, they sent people down to the countryside, and licentiates had to become village officials too!
