Qingcheng Daoist

Those who walk the Great Way are called Daoists. The foremost among them are known as Daoist Masters. Exorcising demons, vanquishing devils, cleansing filth, warding homes, telling fortunes, and treating the sick are all part of their work in the mortal world. But before any of that, you have to fill your own belly.

“Come take a look! The Qingcheng Sect is rolling out all kinds of new services! Fortune-telling: five strings of cash. House calls: three strings. Home blessings: ten strings. Funerals: prices vary according to the deceased's status, starting at two taels.”

“And now for some big news! Official organizations like the Celestial Court, the Underworld, and the Western Pure Land are offering group-buying deals, all starting at 20% off! We also have matching discount cards and bundles of paper talismans. Daoist disciples get the insider price, with discounts of up to 40%!”

“Miss, since we had such a pleasant time working together last time, I'll give you 5% off this time. And, of course, if you sign up for our couples' package now, you'll also get bedroom arts services and a complimentary beauty pill.”

Note: This is really a story about someone who transmigrates into a Daoist priest and has no choice but to support his family and make a fortune.
