Diary of a Primitive Man

To be honest, it's so well written and very in line with my taste.

Primitive society: One acre of land costs twenty kilograms of seeds, but a harvest of less than forty kilograms is considered a bumper harvest and high yield. I can't understand that the return of one seed is the weight of two grains of grain. It feels unreasonable, and one hundred kilograms feels about the same. The investment is extremely high, but the return is less than twice, and the seeds are subtracted, so the final harvest is too little.

The subject matter is good, but the content is not good enough, and there are many places where it is not smooth. Also, it's too idealistic, and to say it's ugly is childish. I think the biggest problem is salt. The author thinks salt is just a condiment. In fact, salt is very important and a necessity. In real life, if you don't eat salt for a week, you will have adverse reactions, and you may die in a month or two. Primitive people drank raw blood because it contained salt. The protagonist takes everyone to eat cooked food as soon as he travels through time. Once he eats, nothing happens for two or three years. Also, the protagonist's body is only in his teens, and it's too fake to be able to hold a baby while facing an automatic female savage. Although his soul is over thirty, it is difficult to control his physical impulses, especially when he was drunk at one point. Some people may say that savages are too ugly, but you may not know the hunger and thirst that adolescent boys and girls have. It can be played against the queen of poker cards, no matter how ugly it is, it can't be seen how ugly it is. Moreover, the protagonist himself is ugly and thinks about fair skin, beauty and long legs every day.

When I read about building cave dwellings and burning bricks, I felt like I had lost my brain. It is understandable to dig out cave dwellings. How did you build a five-meter cave dwelling? When it came to the weaving and tailoring part, I felt that the author was in trouble at first, but it wasn't until the chapter about making clothes that I realized it was poisonous. If it were a full five-star rating, I would give it four and a half stars. The main reason is that the first half is okay, but the second half is a bit too idealistic. But it doesn't affect reading, and it's still worth reading.

However, in the novel, which is set in a matriarchal society, the author repeatedly depicts women as merely using their bodies to seduce men; he often uses words such as barbaric and stupid to describe the characters who grew up with him, which really spoils the reading experience. From now on, I basically just listen, not read.

It was okay in the early stage, but it became more and more outrageous from the beginning of weaving... The author has an obsession with the lower three roads, and has unrealistic illusions about primitive society. I haven't even solved the problem of food and clothing, but my mind is already full of food and drink, mushrooms and wine. Isn't it good to live? Given the hygienic conditions of primitive society, how do you know that the stuff you brew is drinkable? Tribal hegemony is even more difficult to watch, and you can't watch it without your brains. There are too many unreasonable things. If you didn't say this was a primitive society, I would have thought I was watching the Warring States Period.
