The Supporting Female Character’s Salvation Lies in Food

As Gu Xiang lay on the brink of death, she encountered a Gourmet System and stumbled into the Great Song, only to find herself saddled with the fate of a cannon-fodder supporting female character.

Was she the poor original wife who worked herself to the bone to put her scumbag husband through school, only to die coughing up blood on the very day he achieved success and married a new bride?

Was she the scumbag hero’s cinnabar mole and white moonlight in a sweet romance, the object of the heroine’s hatred and resentment? Was she doomed to be suppressed to death?

But she refused to accept her fate. She was determined to carve out a carefree life for herself.

With the System’s help, she starts by making hearty home-style dishes in a big pot, savoring all the flavors of life.
