I Became the Kids’ Stepmom, and the Little Villain Turned into a Sweetheart

Wen Shutong, the empire's first female general, is betrayed by her organization and killed by the enemy. When she opens her eyes again, she's become the ill-fated stepmother of three villains from a novel, with a rough-hewn hunter for a husband who treats her with cold indifference.

When the villains grow up, each of them is bent on taking revenge on their stepmother.

The eldest son becomes a powerful chancellor and has her locked in a beast-taming arena, where wild animals bite and tear at her flesh and bones. The second son becomes a famed general who strikes fear across the land and throws her into the military camp for the soldiers' amusement.

The youngest daughter devours books and masters miraculous medicine, then uses her body to make pills that can bring the dead back to life and restore flesh to bones.

Faced with the original owner's miserable fate, Wen Shutong isn't worried. With a pocket dimension at her disposal, the world is hers. She earns money and raises the children, farms and supports the family, tears apart vile villains, and kicks useless trash to the curb.

At last, the three brats turn over a new leaf and become completely devoted to her. Just as she's ready to settle down and enjoy her old age, her War God husband, who goes by the name of a hunter, comes over and nuzzles her, looking aggrieved.

"Wife, you haven't shown me any affection in ages."
