Bend at the Waist

[Cool, abstinent university professor vs. fiery, flirtatious troublemaker]

[Both are each other’s first and only + rekindled romance + she pursues him + lies]

Everyone said Professor Fu of A University was worth billions and exceptionally learned, a lofty beauty who could only be admired from afar.

But Wen Qing, a troublemaker, refused to believe it and insisted on flirting with him.

Everyone wondered how long she would keep it up, and how long it would take Professor Fu to lose patience.

They waited and waited, until the day the two finally announced their relationship.

Someone said, “It’s fake. Professor Fu would never like a troublemaker.”

“Exactly. That shameless woman must have hounded him until he had no choice but to agree.”

But a few days later, a set of photos appeared on the campus confession wall. In them, a tall man was holding a woman close and kissing her passionately. The woman had unmistakable pink hair. Who else could it be but Wen Qing?

Everyone was devastated, saying Professor Fu was a little lamb who had wandered into a wolf’s den.

Wen Qing raised her hand. “Heavens know the truth! I was the one who pursued him at first, but then I gave up. This man wouldn’t take no for an answer. I’m the lamb here, okay?”

Professor Fu gazed at the woman before him with a doting smile. “Mm, my wife is always right.”
