The Year of Fighting

I thought that if I worked hard enough, I could live a good life. However, the reality is that without efforts to find the right direction, all efforts are in vain. In 1997, there was a severe drought in my hometown and there was no grain harvest. In order to fill my stomach, I chose to drop out of school and give my sister the only opportunity to study. That year, I followed several fellow villagers and traveled hundreds of miles to make ends meet. In order to survive, I shined shoes for others at the train station, worked as a mason at a construction site, and worked as a waiter... I worked hard to make a lot of money, buy a big house, and bring my parents and sister to the city to enjoy themselves. To realize this dream, I wear many hats. But even if he tried his best, he could still barely survive. The rapidly rising prices and rents have caused me to get further and further away from my dream... Until I met her.
