The Big Shot Is So Well-Behaved Today, Too

At a class reunion years later, someone saw the legendary Gu powerhouse pinning a young woman against the wall and kissing her, his eyes red with emotion.

The young woman looked up, blushing, and everyone drew a sharp breath.

W-Wasn't that Zhijin, the girl who chased after Gu Xiao for years, then left the country heartbroken when he didn't return her feelings?

Mini-scene 1

Back then, everyone at school knew Zhijin liked Gu Xiao.

Someone couldn't help sneering,

“If Gu Xiao ever took a liking to Zhijin, I'll livestream myself cooking in an iron wok.”

Later...

Gu Xiao actually spoke up in the class chat for once:

“What happened to the person who promised to cook themselves in an iron wok? Want me to donate one?”

Mini-scene 2

Back then

Starry-eyed Zhi Jin: I like you.

Stone-faced Gu Xiao: What's that got to do with me?

Later

Devoted Gu Xiao: I love you.

Stone-faced Zhi Jin: Sweetheart, my advice is to get lost. Right now.

Hearing that, Gu Xiao lowered his head and planted a quick kiss on Zhijin's lips, feeling pleased with himself.

Hah, she still likes me after all. Why else would she ask me to kiss her?

Completely baffled Zhi Jin: ???

Only after you left did I realize how much I loved you.

You're the stubborn little love I can't let go of.

Gu Xiao x Zhijin / aloof and dismissive x completely out of reach

Acting cold feels great until it's time to chase your wife back

A sweet romantic comedy set mostly in the city, with some campus life
