The Cannon Fodder Villainess Doesn't Want to Win Over the Male Lead

Song Xingwan transmigrates into a melodramatic campus novel, and she's cast as a cannon-fodder supporting female character. The System tells her, “You have two choices. First, win over the male lead, Chen Qize, and make him fall in love with you; second, help the second male lead, Lu Ran, become the top student in his grade.” Song Xingwan doesn't hesitate for long. “I choose the second.” The System sounds a little puzzled. “Why?” Song Xingwan replies, “Based on all my years of reading novels, the first option is definitely going to be full of clichés. Besides, I'm not interested in winning over the male lead.” System: “Congratulations, your choice is confirmed!” Ten minutes later, Song Xingwan stares silently at Lu Ran's report card, which puts him among the bottom ten in his grade. Is it too late to change her mind? The System says, “Sorry, once confirmed, your choice cannot be changed.” Song Xingwan can't shake the feeling she's been tricked.
