The Princess Consort of the House Is Loaded

With the First Imperial Merchant as her backing, and adored by her doting parents and brothers, Qian Duoduo is the most sought-after bride in the capital! But a marriage contract promises her to the Twelfth Prince, the capital’s most notorious wastrel, a man whose very name strikes fear into everyone. Overnight, Qian Duoduo goes from the most eligible bride to the poor girl everyone pities. Who could have guessed that on the very day after their wedding, she would beat the Twelfth Prince into submission! Violent by nature and unreasonable? He’s still nothing but a defeated loser in Qian Duoduo’s hands! Determined to assert his authority, the Twelfth Prince straightens his back and kneels on a washboard, declaring righteously, “My princess consort is kind and gentle. Anyone who bullies her is picking a fight with me!” But then a conspiracy causes both husband and wife to blow their cover. The wastrel prince stares at his princess consort, who should have been tending to their household but has instead single-handedly brought the martial world to heel. Shocked, he stammers, “M-My lady…” The good-for-nothing princess consort looks at her husband, who should have been kneeling on a washboard but has become her greatest enemy. Equally furious, she raises her sword and lunges at him. “My sworn enemy! Get down on your knees and sing ‘We Will Rock You’!”
