Transmigrated into My Best Friend: My Husband Holds the Baby While We Stare Each Other Down

General Xie, a tough, straight-shooting woman, died on the battlefield. When she awoke, she had transmigrated into the body of a princess’s best friend. Her best friend was kind and often bullied. She had a naive, foolish little brother to deal with, a queen mother constantly plotting to seize power, and a court full of self-righteous officials clamoring that a hen shouldn’t crow at dawn... General Xie declared, “My best friend may be gentle, but I’m not going to let you push her around!” She disciplined her young brother, put the queen mother in her place, and purged the court, kicking one person after another until she had forged a bright and peaceful age of prosperity. Satisfied, General Xie turned around, only to find her former husband staring at her in bafflement, holding a soft, chubby little girl. Jiang Zhe, who had somehow become her ex-husband, was at his wit’s end: Urgent question, my wife has turned into her best friend. How am I supposed to handle this relationship?
