Three years ago, Cai Yeyang obtained a stat panel!

When the panel activated, it announced that another world was about to descend upon Blue Star!

Only by growing stronger could he improve his chances of survival when that world arrived!

As long as he swung his staff ten thousand times every day, his strength would keep increasing.

A loser finally had his chance to turn his life around!

He would become a peerless powerhouse, save all living beings, and become a hero in the eyes of people around the world!

So Cai Yeyang quit his job and swung his staff at home day after day, stockpiling supplies and building an underground defensive fortress!

He also told his relatives and friends about the impending arrival of another world and posted about it online.

He only wanted to warn them to prepare in advance, but instead, they had him committed to a psychiatric hospital...

Like most patients, Cai Yeyang insisted he wasn't sick. All he got in return was one round of electroshock therapy after another, along with forced injections of sedatives...

Three years later, another world descended...

A blood-red palace hung over the horizon, and the crimson moon was terrifying. Otherworldly fiends, underground monsters, mutated beasts... Thousands upon thousands of people died violent deaths every day!

Underground fiends and forbidden-zone beasts kept devouring what little safe territory remained to humanity.

Cai Yeyang stood proudly on the psychiatric hospital rooftop, watching the world collapse and heaven and earth transform.

He swung the staff in his hand!

"From this day forth, I will be the flame that never goes out in this world!"
