Whispering in the Ears of the Old Gods

This is the ancient war between humans and gods, raging since time immemorial and running through the pages of history.

As the old gods give way to the new, people begin to worship the uncanny:

The rat in the wall, the dog of the mamey tree, the weeping angel, the sigh of Naples...

The mutated gods look down upon the mortal world, yet feed the inferno with their own flesh.

The countless devotees cast themselves into heaven, whispering mournful, delirious words.

They are all waiting for that door to open.

The door of blind, mindless madness.

I once searched everywhere for traces of the gods, hoping to cure my illness, but found nothing.

Then, in a sudden moment of realization, I discovered...

I was the god all along.
