When Will You Let Me Arrange Your Hair, My Lord?

In the fourteenth year of Tianxing, the Fang family, a clan of chancellors, was sentenced to execution by beheading after the entire family was implicated by a single flower note. The third daughter of the Ye family, a lowborn daughter of the censor, risked her life to save the Fang family’s eldest legitimate son and fifth legitimate daughter. In the eighteenth year of Tianxing, the Crown Prince was murdered at Longyin Temple. Censor Ye proved his innocence with his death, while the eldest son of the Ye family offered up his half-sister, “the beauty of Ye Third,” to save the family. The Third Miss Ye was ready to die, but a strange young man saved her. Together, they devised a scheme to switch one person for another and seek a slim chance of survival. Years later, as Third Miss Ye gazed at the handsome old man by her side, she was immensely glad she had followed a sudden impulse and saved his life all those years ago... This is a sweet romance about “saving someone’s life, then being repaid with their hand in marriage”!
