After the Beloved Celestial Lord Married into the Demon Realm

Ji Qi was the son of the Celestial Emperor, born to a position of immense status and privilege. Revered and beloved by the gods and immortals of the celestial realm, he was said to be a noble, solitary soul who stood above the mortal world and looked down on all beneath him. Who could have imagined that when he heard the little fox who had stolen his first kiss had no intention of taking responsibility and marrying him, he would weep until heaven and earth grew dark... The gods declared, “Anyone who dares make our Ji Qi cry must die!” But the little fox was a demon lord. They reasoned that although Feng Li, the Demon Venerable, was arrogant, he had saved the Heavenly Lord’s life and had thoroughly captured the innocent (cross that out) pure little Azure Dragon’s heart. It would be wrong to simply kill him with a single sword stroke. So Shang Qu, the celestial god of war and Ji Qi’s maternal uncle, came up with a plan. He led a mighty force of one hundred thousand celestial soldiers to surround the demon realm. He pointed an axe-spear at Feng Li’s neck and demanded that he marry Ji Qi! Feng Li said, “My deepest thanks to your entire family, for eight generations!” At the time, the demon realm was walking on thin ice. After losing the war between gods and demons, it had even less say in the matter, so Feng Li could only agree to the marriage alliance and play along with the Heavenly Lord, Ji Qi. Later, Ji Qi picked up the bad habit of “defying the Celestial Laws” while living in the demon realm. Feng Li bared his teeth arrogantly. “I taught him that. So what? Got a problem? Come fight me!” Standing beside the little fox, Ji Qi gazed coldly down at the gods below, his eyes concealing ten thousand years of winter snow. The gods declared, “We wouldn’t dare. We wouldn’t dare.”
