My Backer

Meng Jie, the powerful and wealthy head of the Bingzhou sect, has had her soul transported into the body of a biological daughter just reclaimed by a wealthy family. Not only is she treated like a walking blood bank, but nobody at home likes her, either. Her father says, "Meng Jie is arrogant and domineering. Ran Yi is so obedient and sensible, such a relief to have around." Yu Chi replies, "I love my wife just the way she is. Even if she acts outrageously and brings the sky crashing down, I'll be there to cover for her." Her brother says, "I only recognize Zheng Ranyi as my sister. Ran Yi's jewelry designs have won awards and are exceptional. Meng Jie still has a long way to go." Yu Chi replies, "My wife is modest. Her designs have topped the sales charts for years, and her brand practically has a monopoly." Her aunt says, "Ran Yi's paintings are inspired masterpieces! Meng Jie? Who's that?" Yu Chi replies, "My wife keeps a low profile. She's only the richest painter in the country, that's all." A tarot reader, a corporate decision-maker... One secret identity after another comes to light. Zheng Ranyi steps forward and says, "You're so good at painting, Sister. Why not paint me?" Meng Jie sneers disdainfully. "I only paint portraits of the dead and nudes. Pick one: dead or naked." [The scheming, doting Fifth Master Yu vs. the arrogant little menace who loves stirring up trouble]
