Good reviews. Overall, the plot is smooth, not abusive, and progresses step by step without any surprises. The ending felt a little too fast, like a condensed summary of life. It's okay, but I don't understand the character of the mistress. She obviously came back to take revenge, but she didn't take any practical actions. She kept talking and arguing. In order to get a few thousand taels of compensation from the stepmother, she had to go to the palace to pretend to be pitiful and miserable. She could use the space to empty out Zhida's money, but she had to be so tired. Moreover, these money were the dowry of the original mistress, so having space is the same as having no space.
