Fireflies in the Long Night

A story of rivalry and redemption between Wei Lai, an online novelist, Liang Zhijie, a policewoman, and Liu Zhihong, a female security guard.

The day my ex-husband and I went to finalize our divorce, the other woman vanished!

When she was found, she was tied naked to her grandfather's tombstone.

The police came after me. “I heard you were going to kill Zhu Lili?”

I looked the officer in the eye without a trace of emotion. “Who told you that?”

He took out his phone. On the screen was a post I'd made on my forum.

“Where were you on the day of the crime?”

I replied, “At a hotel?”

The officer asked, “Who were you with?”

I pointed to the policewoman beside him. “I was with her. She can vouch for where I was!”
