The Imperial Exam: The Top Scholar Empress Brings Prosperity to Her Country, Family, and Husband

A modern math expert is reborn as an unborn child in the Shangbei Dynasty, becoming Fu Jinan.

With her father dead, her step-grandmother making life difficult, and her uncle’s family scheming to seize the estate, Fu Jinan disguises herself as a boy to protect her mother and sister, and embarks on the path of the imperial exams.

Fu Jinan takes stock of herself every day: Did I give away that I’m a girl today?

No.

Xia Yunqi is questioning everything. The more he looks at Fu Jinan, the more handsome and delicate she seems. Could he be gay?

If he is, so be it.

At last, Xia Yunqi can’t hold back. He pins Fu Jinan against a wall and says, “I’m gay, and I think you’re just my type.”

Fu Jinan: “We’re not right for each other. I’m a woman.”

Xia Yunqi: “We’re perfect for each other! We can even have two children in three years!”

Fu Jinan: “Aren’t you gay?”

Xia Yunqi: “Not anymore. You’re my type, man or woman.”
